In this site you will find information about the Powerco Wanganui Trust, along with additional information on how to apply, recent donations and brief biographies on the current Trustees and Secretary.

The Powerco Wanganui Trust was formed in 1993 to distribute profits from the Trusts investments.

The Trust currently has over $25 million invested and plans to donate over $1.3 million per year into its local area. Donation requests can be considered from groups and organisations carrying out their activities in the area covered by the former Wanganui Rangitikei Electric Power Board, comprising Wanganui, Rangitikei, Waverley and Waimarino, excluding Ohakune.

Application organisations must be essentially charitable in nature and be providing services which will benefit the general public, either directly or indirectly, within the Trusts area.
